rolled lanyard of white cloth. Leather lining with loops, the top in-

scribed with wearer’s name from 1936, the lining with stamp of the

clothing office “B.A.X” and erased depot stamp, inside the body size

indication “56”. The fur cover partly thinned out, the field insignia with

small holes. Partly damaged, traces of age.

The regiment’s garrison was located in Hamburg-Wandsbek. The

“Wandsbek Hussars” were under the command of the 18th Cavalry

Brigade in Altona.
