| 123 1084 König Friedrich V. von Dänemark (1723 - 1766) - silbermontierte Steinschloss- pistole, Valentin Marr, Kopenhagen, um 1760 Glatter Lauf im Kaliber 13 mm, auf der Lauf­ schiene Messingkorn, über der Kammer dänisches Wappen (verputzt) und Ranken­ ornamente in Gold. Leicht geschnittenes Steinschloss, auf der Schlossplatte signiert. Fein beschnitzter Vollschaft mit Hornnase und silberner, mit Rocaillen verzierter Garni­ tur, auf der Knaufkappe Chiffre Krone/„F5”. Ladestock aus Horn. Eisenteile dunkel brüniert, Vorderschaft rechts im Bereich der Schaftnase ergänzt, Fehlstelle in der Schloss­ bettung. Länge 45 cm. Valentin Marr wurde 1696 in Zella St. Blasii geboren und kam 1732 auf Empfehlung seiner Zunft nach Kopenhagen. Vgl. Heer, Der Neue Stöckel, Bd. 2. S. 761f. Friedrich V. war den Sinnesfreuden und dem Trunk nicht abgeneigt und gab sich durchaus volksnah, was ihm den Beinamen „der Gute” einbrachte. Frederick V of Denmark (1723 - 1766) - a silver-mounted flintlock pistol, Valentin Marr, Copenhagen, circa 1760 Smooth barrel in 13 mm calibre, a brass front sight on the barrel rib, a Danish coat of arms (over-polished) and tendril ornaments inlaid in gold at the breech. The flintlock lightly chiselled, signed on the lock plate. Delicately carved full stock with horn nosepiece, silver furniture decorated with rocaille ornaments, the cipher crown/”F5” on the butt cap. Horn ramrod. The iron components with a dark finish, the forearm replaced to the right of the nosepiece, flaws in the lock bed. Length 45 cm. Valentin Marr was born in Zella St. Blasii in 1696 and moved to Copenhagen in 1732 on the recommendation of his guild.
