| 69 A Mauser C 96 “Flatside Large Ring Hammer” Carbine, USA Cal . 7,63 mm Mauser, SN. 308, matching numbers. Barrel length 300 mm, with beaded front sight, almost bright bore. Ten shots. Proof marks Double-Crown/”U” and Oberndorf antlers. Year of make 1900. Rear sights graduated 50 - 500. On top of chamber three-line maker’s mark. The left hand side of the receiver marked “Von Lengerke / & Detmold / New-York”. Original finish > 99%. Hammer and lock frame case hardened. Small parts fire blued, the trigger polished. Walnut forend, walnut shoulder stock with matching number, the bluing of the attachment iron slightly thinner, the grip straps greyish. Black hard­ rubber butt cap with fine checkering and logo.
