The Augsburg proof mark struck at the breech. The lock fitted with an external wheel , pan with spring-loaded cover and release button. The cock with the original (!) pyrite with lead sheathing. The trigger with lateral safety lever. The slender full shaft made of walnut with inlays of engraved and blackened bone. The lower part of the but t broken and restored. Inset wooden ramrod with bone tip. Length 88.5 cm. Stylistically, the carbine is closely associated with the weapons used by the life guard serving under Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau, Prince Bishop of Salzburg.
