Das Haupt mit entschla- fenem Ausdruck nach rechts geneigt. Die Stichwunde im rechten Brustkorb mit austre- tendem Blut plastisch dargestellt, die Rippen seitlich angedeutet. Das Tuch um die Hüfte rechts verknotet. Unterhalb der Knie gebro- chen. Die einst angesetzten Arme fehlen. Der Körper in gotischer Strenge noch gerade aus- gearbeitet. Die Rückseite unbearbeitet. Höhe 73 cm. Provenienz: Aus belgischer Privatsammlung. Zuvor in Gelsenkirchener Privatbesitz, über- nommen um 1960 aus dem Nachlass Häferlin aus Bühl in Baden. The loin cloth around his hips knotted on the right. Broken beneath the knee. The originally attached arms have been lost. The erect body drawn up according to se- vere Gothic style.
