A Luristan bronze macehead, Early Bronze Age, 3rd millennium B.C. A tubular bronze macehead. Three rows of short spikes on the upper half, separated by fields with decorative ornaments. Lange zylindrische Bronzehülse, die oben und unten mit einem ver­ dickten Rand abschließt. Der untere Rand ist mit einem eingeritzten Fischgrätenmuster verziert. Die obere Hälfte ist mit drei Reihen kräf­ tiger Dornen besetzt. Zwischen den Dornenreihen je eine Schlange. Minimaler Ausbruch am oberen Abschluss, sonst intakt und mit schö­ ner grüner Patina.
