Gilt ripple moulding and frame. The temple-like, multi-structured cabinet can be opened up in two ways. Mounted on four ebonised ball feet. Straight, contoured frame with a drawer. Above it a folding compartment with four ebonised half-columns and a continuous row of gold-framed, win­ dow-like niches, set with agate. Veneered on the inside, with star-shaped marquetry and mirroring, lined in combed top paper. Additional small
