Dieser teilweise graviert, ziseliert und fein in Silber tauschiert. Auf vier kleinen, glockenartigen Füßchen der streng geometri­ sche, aufklappbare Korpus mit sarkophag­ ähnlichem Deckel. Schauseitig überreich an ägyptisierenden und dem Kulturkreis ent­ sprechenden mythologischen Szenen gra­ viert. Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. Teilwei­ se berieben. Partiell restauriert. Schloss feh­ lend. DemAlter entsprechend schöne Patina. Maße 12 x 16,5 x 9 cm. Provenienz: Alte süddeutsche Sammlung. Mit Gutachten vom 12.05.2004. On four small, bell-like feet. Severely geometric, hinged body, the lid in the shape of a sarcophagus. The front lavishly engraved with Egyptianesque mythological scenes and others originating in the cultural area. Show- ing traces of age and use. Rubbed in places. Partially restored.
