The figure of the VirginMary on a crescent moon and serpent in the centre, surrounded by angels. The figure of the pelican at the front, feeding its young with its own blood. Architectural setting, the arch of the column decorated with sun, moon and stars, upon which a pair of angels with sacred hearts and the Arma Christi. Two tubs and two palm trees at the sides with numerous exotic birds, some painted in colour. Mounted on the original, gilt wooden pedestal with lavish relief decora- tion. Dimensions 41 x 43 x 21 cm.
