| 111 114 Auguste Hyacinthe Debay, „Eva mit ihren Söhnen Kain und Abel”, datiert 1845 Bronze, patiniert. Darstellung der auf einem Fels sitzendenen Eva, in ihrem Schoß ihre beiden schlafenden Söhne. Rechteckige Plinte, schauseitig reliefierte Darstellung des Mordes von Abel durch Kain. An der rechten Seite des Steines signiert „A. Debay 1845”, auf der Rückseite „F. Barbedienne, Fondeur”. Seitlich je Darstellung eines Op- feraltars mit Opfergaben von Fleisch bzw. Feldfrüchten. Auf der Rück- seite der Baum der Erkenntnis mit Schlange. Sockel aus schwarzem Stein (Kanten leicht bestoßen), mit schauseitiger Widmungsgravur „Au Baron et Baronne Charles de Bruck, leurs amis de Bruxelles 1866”. Auf der Plinthe befinden sich die seitlich gravierten Namen der Schenker. Höhe 62 cm. Debay 1845” on the right of the stone, “F. Barbedienne, Fondeur” on the back. A sacrificial altar depicted on each side, with meat and crops as offerings. The tree of knowledge and the serpent on the back. Black stone pedestal (the edges slightly knocked), the dedication engraved on the front reads “Au Baron et Baronne Charles de Bruck, leurs amis de Bruxelles 1866”. The names of the benefactors engraved on the side of the plinth. Height 62 cm.
