Eichenzweige in Gold, besetzt mit kleinen Smaragden und Rubinen. Im rot emaillierten Medaillon stilisierte Chiffre FI. für Ferdinand I. Auflage des Revers-Medaillons in Form eines Löwen aus Gold. Bewegliche Krone, rs. belegt mit Goldplatte. Maße 95 x 53 mm. Gewicht 62,5 g. Weiße Emaille leicht gekratzt. Kleiner, oberflächlicher Chip der weißen Emaille am rs. Medaillon. In altem, aber wohl nicht zugehörigem, lederbezogenemEtui (wohl russisch). Sehr große Seltenheit mit originalen Steinen und von höchster Qualität. Der Zivil-Verdienstorden wurde am 2. August 1891 durch Fürst Ferdinand I. von Bulgarien gestiftet und nur in wenigen Fällen mit Brillanten verliehen. A Bulgarian civilian order of merit, a badge of the Grand Cross with diamonds Silver, partly enamelled, set with diamonds. Oak branches in gold, set with small emeralds and rubies. A stylised cipher FI. for Ferdinand I in the red enamelled medallion. The appliqué of the reverse medallion in the shape of a gold lion. Movable crown, covered with sheet gold on the back. Dimensions 95 x 53 mm. Weight 62.5 g. The white enamel slightly scratched. A small, superficial chip in the white enamel on the reverse medallion. In an old, but pre- sumably not associated, leather-covered presentation case (probably Russian). Of extraordinary rarity, with original gemstones and of superb quality. The civilian order of merit was instituted by Prince Ferdinand I of Bulgaria on 2 August 1891 and only awarded with diamonds in very few cases. 256796 II € 15.000
