The gear unit for height adjustment and clamp lever fully functional. The plaque for searching fire made of zinc sheet (rather than brass as on earlier models). Both springs of the sled stand locking mechanism intact. This late, simplified version as built in 1918 no longer came with either the oil/grease nor the spare part container. A right-angled cleaning rod and sleeve pliers fixed to the mount. The mount with the original field-grey paint finish (!) with some scratches 9598 9598 and paint loss due to use. No recent refurbishing or repairs/replacements whatsoever. In such an original complete, functional condition a rarity in museum quality, definitely a highlight for any collection of German Great War weaponry.
