Umgeben von seinen Auszeichnungen, dabei der sizilianische Orden des Hl. Ferdinand und des Verdienstes sowie der Order of the Bath, und überhöht durch eine Krone mit dem „plume of triumph“ (verliehen durch den osmanischen Sultan nach der „Battle of the Nile“) sowie dem Heck des von ihm eroberten spanischen Kriegsschiffs „San Josef“. Am Unterrand Bandeau mit seinem Motto „Palmam qui meruit ferat“. Darunter kalligraphische Tinteninschrift „The Armorial Ensigns of the Right Honorable Horatio Lord Viscount Nelson. Sir George Nayler (1764 - 1831), Officer of Arms im Londoner College of Arms, begann als Miniaturmaler, wurde 1792 Genealogist des Order of the Bath, 1793 Bluemantle Pursuivant im College of Arms und 1794 York Herald. 1813 wurde er zum Ritter geschlagen, 1820 zum Calarenceux King of Arms ernannt; er verstarb rund zwei Monate nach seiner Anwesenheit bei der Krönung von William IV.
