28 | Los 4722 Majolika-Teller, Urbino, Italien, 2. Hälfte 16. Jhdt. Fein mit einer allegorischen Darstellung bemalter Majolika-Teller. Am Fuße des mittig platzierten Baumes, links von angedeuteten Stadttoren in der rechten Bildhälfte, sitzt eine weibliche Figur. Von links nähert sich ein Hirte, mit seinem Arm auf den liegenden Hund hinweisend, der zu der Sitzenden aufschaut. Womöglich handelt es sich hierbei um eine Unterstellung der Untreue/Unreinheit bzw. um eine entsprechende Erkundigung. Auf kurzem Standring ruht verso die über eine konvexe Erhebung in die breite Fahne übergehende Wandung, gegliedert durch gelbe Bänder (kleine Fehlstelle am Rand). Der Boden schwer verständlich in altertümlichem Italienisch bezeichnet, es handelt sich möglicherweise um eine „Rückkehr nach Aventin“(?) („A Avertino tarnar...“). A shepherd approaching from the left, pointing with his arm to a lying dog gazing at the seated lady. This may be an indication of infidelity/impurity or a corresponding inquiry. On the reverse a short base ring, the convex cheek extending to a wide border decorated with yellow bands (small loss at the rim). The base with an ancient Italian inscription, probably referring to a “Return to Aventin” (?) (“A Avertino tarnar...”). Diameter 29 cm, height 4.5 cm.
