Die seitlichen „Kugelsegmente“ sind an ein mittleres Band geschweißt, das dekorative Pseudonieten aufweist, die keine echte Verbindung herstellen. Ein zusätzliches Blechband mit Perlrand ist zwischen dem mittleren Band und dem seitlichen Segment angebracht. Ein 5 cm hohes Eisenband, das mit der Kalotte verschweißt ist, überragt diese. Auf der Stirnseite sind zwei seichte Augenausschnitte mit einem befestigten Nasal, das mit echten Nieten gesichert ist. Diese Merkmale sind typisch für spätrömische Helme vom Typ Der-elMedineh. Der Helm misst 22,5 cm in der Länge, 18,3 cm in der Breite und 17 cm in der Höhe, mit einer Höhe der Wangenklappen von 12 cm. The edges of the central band feature groups of three pseudo-rivets, which are decorative and not functional. A decorative sheet metal band with a beaded edge is inserted between the central band and the lateral segment. A 5 cm high iron band surrounds the edge of the calotte, welded at the top and overlapping at the neck. The helmet has two shallow eye cut-outs with a nasal attached using real rivets. The sides of the rim band have perforations for attaching a lining. Two cheek flaps, heavily restored, are also present. The helmet measures 22.5 cm in length, 18.3 cm in width, and 17 cm in height, with a cheek piece height of 12 cm. It is in excellent condition with visible technical details. This rare late antique helmet, unique in its completeness, enhances our understanding of banded helmets and is likely a Mediterranean export from the late Roman Empire, dating between the late 5th and 6th centuries.
